ROYAL RANGERS – OUTPOST 30
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ROYAL RANGERS
Royal Rangers is a club for boys. This ministry addresses some of the real life issues facing young men growing up in our society. It is a fun, active experience that develops boys physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially. Rangers includes great outdoor activities such as camping and indoor activities all year long.
I wish to welcome you and your son to the Royal Rangers Program. We are excited that your son has decided to join with us. It is necessary to register your boy with our Outpost. As a Chartered Outpost we are required by the Royal Rangers District Office and National Office to send in a fee for each Royal Ranger. The registration fee of $20.00 (Additional child $15.00) entitles him to a Pinewood Derby Car, Membership Card, the "High Adventure" quarterly magazine and allows participation in the Outpost, Section, Division, District, and National Royal Ranger events. A 50 cent Dues is asked of the boys each week to help pay for their Awards. Feel free to call Pastor Ryan Reynolds for more information at (916) 348-4673.
Each boy will be required to have a manual, a Bible, and an official Royal Rangers uniform. Please return the Parent Permission Slip / Emergency Treatment Slip and the Registration and Data Sheet when registering because they must be on file.
A uniform can create a sense of pride in the boy and a feeling of unity with his fellow Royal Rangers. Unity among the brethren, whether young or old, is essential to our effectiveness for serving Christ. We encourage all boys to attain dress standards and the discipline of proper grooming after becoming a member. Uniforms may be purchased at this time (A uniform order form is attached to this packet).
Each boy should have a Bible that he can bring to the meetings. It is needed for memory verses and Bible studies. His Bible should be easy for him to read and understand.
Please read the Rules and Regulations with your son that is provided with this packet.
Parents, we are very much aware of the economic pressures of the day. If any of the above requirements create a real hardship on you, please contact the Senior Commander to make payment arrangements for your Royal Ranger. Our goal is to serve God, you, and your son.
If you would be interested in helping in our Outpost meetings please speak to your son’s commander or the Senior Commander.
Sincerely,
Fred Wynn Trinity Life Center
Senior Commander (916) 348-4673
